Before joining Calfrac, he served as president of Ferus, a private-equity-backed industrial gas provider with a footprint spanning both Canada and the United States. His leadership experience extends to the broader sector; he chaired Enserva, the national trade association representing Canada’s petroleum services and manufacturing industries, from 2023 to 2025.

The transition comes at a pivotal moment for Calfrac as it navigates the volatile oilfield services market. By elevating an internal candidate focused on optimization, the board appears to be prioritizing operational efficiency.
