Enechange Slashes Net Loss as Revenue Climbs to ¥4.58 Billion

The company’s net loss shrank to ¥36 million for the three-quarter period, a sharp improvement from the ¥2.41 billion deficit recorded during the same timeframe last year. This recovery follows a period of volatile performance and suggests the firm is nearing a break-even point. Revenue for the period rose to ¥4.58 billion, up from ¥4.01 billion a year earlier, according to the latest financial filing.

Pivot to Operating Profitability

Enechange achieved a positive operating profit of ¥523 million, reversing a substantial ¥2.04 billion operating loss from the prior year. Despite this operational turnaround, the company still posted a pretax loss of ¥76 million, though this figure represents a fraction of the ¥1.60 billion pretax loss seen in the previous cycle. Loss per share improved significantly, moving from ¥70.79 to just ¥0.86.

The results, which were prepared under Japanese accounting standards, reflect the company's efforts to stabilize its financial position amid shifting dynamics in the regional energy market. While the net bottom line remained slightly in the red, the narrowed margins indicate a more sustainable trajectory for the 4169.TO ticker as it scales its digital energy platforms.
