According to the company's announcement on Thursday, the integration of Kadex Aero Supply is designed to broaden the service offerings of the Halifax-based aviation holding company.
Expansion into Defense and Maintenance
Based in Peterborough, Ontario, Kadex specializes in aircraft parts distribution and maintenance services. Chorus Aviation CEO Colin Copp characterized the acquisition as a critical component of the company’s long-term strategy to scale its presence in the aerospace and defense sectors. The transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to both earnings and cash flow upon closing.
