The Top End Mobility Group, which includes investment partner Tikehau Star Infra, will deliver the initial 21-mile stretch of the highway. Beyond this first phase, the consortium has signed an exclusive agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation and the State Road and Tollway Authority to facilitate the remaining sections of the development.

Once finished, the initiative will add 37.5 miles of express lanes in each direction to the region's infrastructure. Ferrovial Chief Executive Ignacio Madridejos described the contract as a milestone for the firm, which has operated in Georgia for over a decade. This project represents the company's first foray into managed lanes within the state.
