Skye Bioscience CFO Kaitlyn Arsenault Steps Down

The company disclosed the financial terms of the exit in a Friday announcement, noting that Arsenault will receive a severance payment of $450,000. The agreement also includes an additional $45,000 payment designated for her 2026 annual bonus, according to the firm's regulatory disclosures.

Internal Leadership Shift

Arsenault was appointed to the finance chief role in 2021, serving through a period of strategic development for the pharmaceutical firm. With her exit, the consolidation of the CEO and principal accounting officer roles under Punit Dhillon ensures continuity in Skye’s financial reporting during the transition period.

Skye Bioscience has not yet announced a timeline for the appointment of a permanent successor. For now, the executive team will focus on advancing its clinical priorities while leadership manages the dual responsibilities of corporate strategy and fiscal oversight.
