Quanterix Taps Brucker Executive as New CFO

Jason Faessler will take the helm as chief financial officer at Quanterix starting June 22, stepping into the role after the departure of his predecessor, Vandana Sriram. The Billerica-based life-sciences firm confirmed the appointment on Tuesday as it seeks to stabilize its executive leadership team following Sriram's exit.

Quanterix Taps Brucker Executive as New CFO

Faessler joins the company from Brucker, where he served as senior vice president of finance. During his tenure there, he directed global financial planning and analysis while overseeing the firm’s Americas finance organization. His move to the Massachusetts-based company marks a shift in his career trajectory toward the diagnostics and research sector.

The compensation package for the new executive includes an initial annualized base salary of $475,000. Faessler is also set to receive a $200,000 cash sign-on bonus, alongside a performance-based annual bonus structured with a target of up to 50% of his base pay. These terms follow the announcement last month that Sriram, who held the CFO position since August 2023, would be leaving the organization.
