Chief Medical Officer Helen Collins described the data as a validation of the treatment's consistency. Following these results, the company reached an agreement with the Food and Drug Administration regarding the specific dosing protocols and patient demographics for the upcoming large-scale phase 3 study. Shares of the company had already doubled year-to-date prior to Thursday’s surge.
