Shoei Foods Net Profit Climbs to 2.55 Billion Yen

Shoei Foods Corp. reported a significant surge in profitability for the first half of the fiscal year ending April 30, with net profit reaching 2.55 billion yen. This performance marks a sharp increase from the 1.73 billion yen recorded during the same period last year, according to Japanese accounting standards.

The Tokyo-listed company saw its revenue climb to 70.29 billion yen, up from 65.76 billion yen in the previous year. Operating profit also showed strong momentum, rising to 3.73 billion yen compared to 2.91 billion yen in 2025. Pretax profit followed a similar upward trajectory, landing at 3.77 billion yen against 2.94 billion yen a year earlier.

Reflecting these gains, earnings per share rose to 153.62 yen, a notable improvement over the 102.79 yen reported during the first half of the prior fiscal year.
