Tokyo-based Poletowin Pitcrew Holdings reported a net profit of 180 million yen for the first quarter ended April 30, marking a decisive turnaround from the 609 million yen loss recorded during the same period last year. The shift signals a recovery in performance for the Japanese firm under local accounting standards.

Revenue for the quarter reached 11.24 billion yen, a decrease from the 12.76 billion yen reported in the previous year. Despite the lower top-line figure, the company improved its operational efficiency significantly, moving from an operating loss of 22 million yen to an operating profit of 266 million yen.

Pretax profit stood at 474 million yen, contrasting with the 480 million yen loss sustained in the prior year's first quarter. These results translate to earnings of 5.10 yen per share, a notable recovery compared to the loss of 17.23 yen per share reported for the same three-month window in 2025.
