ADM Extends 53-Year Dividend Streak With Quarterly Payout Boost

Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) has authorized a 2% increase to its quarterly dividend, marking the 53rd consecutive year the Chicago-based agribusiness giant has raised its payout to shareholders.

The board of directors approved a bump in the quarterly distribution to 52 cents per share, up from the previous 51 cents. This adjustment brings the total annual payout to $2.08 per share, representing a yield of approximately 3.06% based on the company’s recent closing price of $68.08.

Elite Dividend Status

This latest increase preserves the company’s standing within the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats Index, a group of 69 firms that have grown distributions for at least 25 years. More significantly, Archer Daniels Midland remains part of the dividend kings—an exclusive list of 57 companies with at least a half-century of annual increases, according to data from Sure Dividend.

The Chicago-based firm confirmed the following schedule for the upcoming distribution:

    • Record Date: February 17
  • Payment Date: March 10
    • New Annual Yield: 3.06%
By extending its streak to 53 straight years, ADM underscores its long-term commitment to returning capital to investors despite shifting conditions in the global agricultural markets.
